So you are Doc Holiday or Val Kilmer? Or you just posing? We can all post any car or image we want, could be true or false.....but a waste of time to explain a FFR and a Superformance or BackDraft cobra to you. Only 1 fact we admit to in this forum...what Camaro we drive ..u drive a V6. Period. Dressed like one but can't outperform or at least perform like the one it mimics. You know the word Poseur and it just eat at you, doesn't it? You know nothing about me or I of you...well you had a fine attempt in your pathetic bragging of things you have...minimum wage stuff. At the end of the day, you just won't stop rationalizing your car. BTW A sporster is nothing to brag about and one of my janitors drive a Vette. Mustang? Please. You can't go anywhere without seeing one. Try again Doc Holiday. |

. good launch vs bad launch could do it too. Everthing equal (I mean stock vs stock), driver skill, etc. no way a Camaro V6 can beat a Camaro V8. Just guessing. I don't have a Camaro.

when he said baic bolt ons i think that means maybe CAI and exhaust.. idk what the gains on a v6 camaro are, but i would guess maybe he would be at 320HP ?? .... 320 hp vs 400hp.... just not possible

Quit feeding the troll. The only thing that ffrcobra_65 is here to do is to piss people off. thats the whole point. Ignore him and he'll keep posting - but you gotta ignore him cause he's a loser plain and simple.
People who actually have things tend not to brag about them too much - especially when they have a lot of things. Confidence in your decisions tends to make you secure enough not to have to justify things to people. When someone attacks things we believe in - its in our nature to defend what we have done / think / feel / believe in - etc. But you have to ignore people like this. He probably doesn't even own a car. He could be 14 years old and simply coming here to cause trouble. You never know with the internet. That being said -- I can't say that anything in this thread comes as a surprise. To all of you that own a 5th Gen V6 Camaro - unfortunately: "Welcome to the way things have been for years". This is how it is in the automotive community at large. It sucks that people are out there that need to feel like they have to justify the decisions they've made by putting down people that got something for cheaper than they did - but those people exist. They'll tell you the v8 is better or its not really a Camaro without a v8, etc. But honestly if GM came out with a Camaro and said "we can only make it in a v6" -- they might not have it around as long, but they'd still sell plenty of cars. The thing thats kind of twisted about this - is that GM doesn't plan on selling to the V8 segment of the Camaro Enthusiast. They like selling v8 cars - the v8's cost more. But the reality of the situation is that if GM doesn't sell enough V6 cars they stop getting produced altogether. That's the plan as it has been for years. Would be nice if Scott could come in here and settle this bickering once and for all...tired of hearing it. You'll just have to soldier on. Appreciate your fellow Camaro owners that have a v8 and don't care whats under the hood - and do your best to feel sorry for those that think that the v6 is "less of a car". There's probably a reason that they have to be jerks and it's not always related to their vehicle purchase (depressive, jobless, hating life, etc) -- there's always a reason for a bully to be a bully. But enjoy what you have - and ignore the haters - there will always be haters no matter what you drive (as it has been stated repeatedly in the beginning of this thread)

Every day I come out to see my SGM 2LT, I don't even regret not getting the V8. It is a joy to drive and there is hardly a day that goes by that I don't get some kind of compliment. 312hp is more that I have ever owned and is plenty for me.
