Screw, centrifigul or twin turbo?
I am considering forced induction on my L99/A6 SS. Currently I have 1 3/4 headers w/high flow cats, CAI and a tune by Jannetty. What is the best method of forced induction and pros and cons of each? TVS2300/Pro Charger/Twin Turbo? I am going to keep the stock internals for now, so what would be my best choice for dependability and driveability? What HP can I expect at the wheel?

Go for Twin Turbo. Hands down best forced induction.

Lets us know how much $$$$ you want to spend and I bet we can get pretty close to what numbers you'll have when your done with the various options. Keep in mind your future and how far you want to go. You don't want to outgrow your blower like some idiots.....you shall not name themselves!

twin turbo has the potential for the most power and easiest power. Doesnt drain any extra power. Only makes extra power. A little more weight but well worth it. Many cool noises as well. lol. And twin turbo just sounds cool. Shouldnt be a second thought. And being twin turbo and if you choose ball bearing turbos there will be just about no lag either.

I would recomend the TVS2300! I love mine and don't think I will ever need anymore power then what we have made.

I would vote twin screw unless you can afford a real nice TT setup. TT makes the most power right off the bat with alot of room to grow. It will make more power per lb of boost against any supercharger. The more power you make the more you keep unlike a supercharger that gets more power robbed the more it makes. The true price of Twin Turbo is the only draw back IMO. I of course am one of those that will have to go Twin Screw when I have the chance.

3 choices will most likely help you.
1. Noise: Do you like Turbo whistle, Supercharger whine, or a sleeper effect 2. Ease of use with other mods: Do you want to keep your LT and CAI? 3. Power: How much power do you want to make? |
