Really... I mean really do you got nothing nice to say

Don't listen to the annoying trolls who are just jealous. Important thing is your okay from earlier accident and you chose a Camaro.

I can only imagine the cost of insurance for a young person driving a performance car.

I know. I can't believe how many jealous people we have on here. Happy birthday ,enjoy the car ,and be safe.

Don't worry about these jealous knot heads. It's none of their business what you did to get that car, and you don't have to answer to anyone.

My dad gave me a 1969 442 convertible, I was excited and told the story several times. (oops... did it again. I must be showing off)
see now, that's where you made my point.

i would sorely be surprised that you would walk up to people and go, hey i'm 16; just so you know... here's the car my dad gave me when talking to people about that 442.

my point is, if he's trying to be part of a largely adult crowd (18+) then a bit of maturity wouldn't hurt. just hope he acts more mature behind the wheel of it.

some of you guys are so cute with the "hater" thing. maybe you could try spelling it h8r... (and dont get me wrong, it's great to hear someone getting/buying a camaro; just try not to be a show off or you might end up like that guy with the supersnake after that burnout)

Not mess up outside or inside of class and had to move from st.louis Missouri to Kansas city just to give my sister a new start in highschool. And sry no pics yet I'm on my phone because my laptop is not working I'll have them up tommorow. And I've been on this form for awhile just never really posted so I know this is a great forum.

And I'd say I'm a pretty mature and responsible guy. Some of you might argue against that but then again do you even know me?

hey, tomorrows a school day...shouldn't you be getting ready for bed. Doesn't seem like a very responsible thing to be staying up late on a school night...I kid. Enjoy your car and be safe. Please make sure you keep your passengers safe too...SEATBELTS all the time.

We all say we're mature because we're teenagers. We think we know everything. We're the most responsible people we know.
Fact is, maturity and responsibility don't replace driving experience. I'm not dogging you on your new ride (hey, if I could've had one, I'd be driving in a new Camaro too!), but there have been a few times where my tires have squealed, and one time where I even fishtailed, and I'm only running a 200hp V6. They weren't intentional either. I thought I knew my car well enough that I didn't have to worry about tires sliding (which I thought was impossible since my dad tried a burnout in it shortly after we got it and FAILED), but I was wrong.
With the fishtail, I was lucky there was no one next to me; it would have been really bad if I'd hit somebody with only a year of driving under my belt.
I'm not saying you don't deserve it, I'm just saying to be really careful with it. A new SS is no laughing matter, especially with that powerhouse under the hood. Respect it, and always make sure to take extra caution with it whenever you're behind the wheel.
