I too will be parking my car next weekend. I have an agreement with the insurance company to park it for 4 months out of the year...nets me significant savings. The car remains insured, but if something happens, I will lose my policy and essentially be assigned high risk, thats how I understood it anyways.

I can't afford a POS to drive in the winter months so my 2SS/RS IS my daily driver. I'd like to be able to put her up for the winter, but luckily we don't get much snow and ice here in NC. And when we do, I spray the undercarriage and stand outside in the freezing conditions and continue to hand wash my car in my driveway - just a bit quicker than I do now.

See ya in the spring!!!

Next weekend for me....the long slumber begins. This is winter #2 for me, I'm used to it now. Over the winter I will decide/research my next mods.

I'm not ready to kiss Trigger good night just yet. Two or possibly three weeks from now most likely. Like Motorhead, once they salt the roads, it's nighty night big blue fella, see you when I deem the roads worthy of your presence once again.
We do get a run of crisp, clear cold as hell days in February, and I might be able to get out for a winter drive but I live in a snow belt and two years in a row we had 4' yes four feet of snow. My Mazda 4x4 pickup will be my winter ride. Why risk my Camaro if I don't have to? All that salted sand and crap would be hell on the paint.

I'm surprised they can still afford salt for the roads in MI. Big government has so devastated the economy up there it's a wonder they still have citizens!

If it was me, Id move to another state before I put it in storage. Good thing I live in Georgia.

Hell, a snowflake shows its face where I live and the air raid sirens go off and the roads are shutdown. Children are pulled from school and rushed into shelters and people screaming in the streets.

Seriously. Almost.
