I paid $28k before trade on my 1ss which had a sticker of $31,895.
Some people don't give a poop about speed and see it as a waste of money. I bet that 2LT for 30k was loaded with options when the 1SS at 31k is bare bones.

So really, pay 1k more and get no features but a faster car to sit in rush hour? Will you actually be racing it?

OR do you want a sun roof and comfortable leather seats? The RS package?

If you want to compete grab the 1SS, if you want to cruise with some style grab the 2LT... if you want both grab a 2SS RS. All about how YOU will be making use of it!

Is that actually sticker pricing? You do not want to check up here... my car runs just below $40k and 2SS/RS are just below $50k... sticker!

LMAO.....
some people really are not that stuck on racing everyone they see..... 312 hp is really plenty and not having to fill it up with premium saves you some cash every time as well as the mileage. the average joe cannot tell the different between my car and your car for what it is worth

The main thing is the OP did NOT buy the Dodge! He bought a great car that he and his new lady friends love! He is improving his health by losing weight and hopefully his heart. All Camaros are great from an LS to a 2SS/RS. To each his/her own I say, and enjoy them any way they come. That is all.

Also you can use a car buying service. You can set your price before even getting to the dealer so you don't have to deal with all that mess.

I am getting a Camaro through USAA's car buying service when the 2012's come out. Waiting for the new interior as well as the possibility of the Z28 or increased HP of the SS.

Hoping in the next 3 some news is going to be released and have a new Camaro next year some time.

Hmmm, yes Chevy is now rating the same V6 as last year higher than the LS1. But does the dyno agree? For sure the LS1 is a much faster car.

I am seeing V6 Dyno #s around 250- and LS1s around 280+. So correct if I am wrong V6 owners but LS1>2010-2011 V6. However the new car is much improved and very cool with the V6.

I think someone needs to be schooled on the definition of a "real" man. I can guarantee it has nothing to do with the car you drive or pencil necks that you can beat up. Grow a real man's set.

Internet sales is usually a part of fleet sales - volume is what they are concerned with, not commission. Always buy through fleet sales, especially now. They are selling everything at dealer invoice or less. Wife bought her Mustang through internet sales, piece of cake and she got $8,000 off the sticker.

ref the age-old V8/V6, just like anything else it comes down to individuality and personal preference. a V8 makes no sense to ME due to insurance and fuel costs, and I just sold my last car w/a V6, 222 HP, so this is a huge upgrade. but i totally understand the same line of reasoning for the V8 owners, once you go 'big', can you can never go back...
