There's a couple of things and just knowing it's coming to Michigan I have some idea. Stripes is the first, possible QC and then transport to the distribution point in Dearborn (I'm close enough to go visit!!) and from Dearborn it will be trucked to the dealer. Everything actually looks fine and you should have your car soon!!

I did order stripes. Was hoping thats where it went 2 days ago. btw - Ours is also SGM. I love that color! Saw a SCM with glossy black stripes the other day. Wow. Wish now I would have had them painted on.

Congratulations to our 10/25 brothers, RRrumble and TrevorCrowell. We're uncles again.

Seeing by their VIN numbers they were only 3 cars apart, pretty cool.

I am walking on water right now. I guess I really need to finish the repairs to the garage, to make room for my new toy. So how long from this point does it take to put the stripes on? I really hope it gets here in time for the LA Car show!

I just ordered my intake, exhaust,rk spoiler,hockey stripes, and already set up appt with my tint guy to get windows tinted and also my appt with my tune up guy to install all the goodies, next week is going to be the best week of 2010 !!!!!!!!! yay

My friends car did the exact same thing and we found out somethings that just might pertain to you as well.

10/25/2010 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by Truck, Rail or transfer to vendor

Means that on this day you car was built and put out on the lot.

10/26/2010 - (4300) Interm transfer; processing transfer to QC or vendor
10/26/2010 - (4200) Shipped (Vehicle is shipped to the dealer or point of delivery)
10/26/2010 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by Truck, Rail or transfer to vendor

Means that your car was selected and shipped to Quality Control and is sitting on their lot.

10/26/2010 - (4300) Interm transfer; processing transfer to QC or vendor
10/26/2010 - (4200) Shipped (Vehicle is shipped to the dealer or point of delivery)

After this there should have been another 4B00 status. All this means is that it cleared Quality Control is was shipped back to the plant for the next stage.

10/27/2010 - (4200) Shipped (Vehicle is shipped to the dealer or point of delivery)
10/27/2010 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by Truck, Rail or transfer to vendor

Since you said you was getting stripes, this means your car was shipped to the striping facility and is currently sitting on their lot waiting to have the stripes put on.

From here you will see another 4200 followed by another 4B00. This will mean that your car has had it's stripes put on and is at the plant waiting to be shipped by rail. Stripes normally take 3 days up to a week depending on the number of cars having stripes put on.

what intake and exhaust did you end up going with?

hey yall, I have couple questions if anyone has a definate answer

1. if ordered with ground effects ( which I did ) will it come already installed or does dealer get the gfx separate ?
2. Do the bowties,rs emblems, and camaro emblems on sides come already installed on car or also get put on by dealer.

very nice. Called Jannetty again today, looking like I might do the Cold Air Inductions intake with an SCT tuner. Spoke to Ted over there and he says thats been the biggest gain in hp hes seen so far with just an intake. Is anyone looking to swap out their fogs for the HID fog set? I REALLY dont like the way the stock lights look especially since mine will be DRLs.

Edit: Also adding the ADM Race Scoop to that intake.

Nice, unfortunatelly here in california if a cop decides to be a dick and tells u to pop the hood and sees the aftermarket intake its a hefty 350 dollar fine !!!!!!!!!!! only carb approved intakes can be put on the car, which only injen and k&n offer so im limited to options

leonardo, the ground effects are shipped to the dealer separate from the car and then installed there. The emblems are already on the car. Getting excited??
