finally finished. kenwood 9140, sirius module, bar camera, took a day to complete. very pleased with the outcome. everything works.

more of the infamous metra and kenwood install shots. definitely make sure you have the antenna adapter before you start. part number: 40-eu55. also installed the sirius receiver.

BTW, if you guys want the boot up logo I made for my DNX9660, I posted it over on the Kenwwod forums. I'll try to find the link directly to it. I believe you can install it on pretty much any Kenwood.

What do you lose other than the car settings?

Also, it's been a while since I put in a double din (been driving luxury cars). Do the HU's still have other modules you have to install under the seat and stuff or are they self contained in the dash now?
