HELP, my car is getting HOT!
I have a question for anyone that could help me so here it is
I have a 1995 Camaro V6 (3.4L) that all of the sudden gets hotter than it usually gets,I drive the car now but if I sit at a light to long or its Idling the Temp starts going up,but if I drive a highway or no traffic in the city the temp is regular,so any ideas to what it could be? Yes I have checked the Radiator water and excess water and there both full, oil is normal

Probably, since it only happens when you're not moving.

by any chance is your air compressor unplugged?
if so, that is why your fan isn't running i had a 94 firebird that i bought with a blown head gasket and the guy before me had the a/c compressor unplugged (the clutch was completely locked up) and the fan won't run without it plugged in, so that is why the head gasket blew. :/ but that is pretty stupid how they have that set up.

how hot is it actually getting? are your fans coming on at all? how long is it taking for it to get hot when sitting in traffic?
there are 2 basic things that will cause this. 1. your fans arent working. 2. your thermostat is stuck. however, if it is just getting to about midway or so before you start moving again, you might not be overheating at all. unless its been changed out, you should have either a 180* or a 195* thermostat. what that means is that the thermostat wont open till past 180/195*. go out and start the car and let it get warm. watch the temp gauge while it rises. (if it goes into redline, shut the car off obviously and let it cool down) if it gets to about 1/2 way to 3/4 the way up then comes down, your thermostat is getting stuck. check your fans to see if they are running or not as well. also keep in mind that the electric fans are programmed to come on at 226* and 235* respectively. check this link to ops check your fans http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#cooling and I know its an LT1 tech site, but the fans are the same on your car. some of the sensor locations might be different tho.
