So I drove my car to work yesterday since it was great weather, sunny 70 degrees. I'm driving back home from work and needed gas, so I pull into the gas station, find a pump and park and before I could even get out of my car, this guy comes up to me and more or less says something to this effect in the most excited manner I have seen: "Oh my god man, i didn't know what that was rolling up in here with that sound, i was like, what the f***, that thing is sick, my wife and I just got an LS and had it for 11 days and that's all we've had is Camaros, but this right here, this m..fer right here is the baddest sh** it Greensboro. This is the baddest Camaro I've seen." So he starts to talk to other people at the gas station, " yo, check this thing out, this is the sh** right here." So I start to get truckers come up, a couple of young girls, a guy on a motorcycle and he's wanting me to start the car up for everyone and pop the hood. I have a group forming. So I start up the car and the guy pretends like he faints and then says 'man, i gotta take some pics of this sh**. my wife is gonna love this sh**. so he starts taking pics of the car from all sides, the interior and engine, putting his ear up to near the exhaust and saying that's the sickest sound he's ever heard.
and i'm a pretty humble and modest guy, so i don't show off much so felt a little weird getting all this attention. He was by far, the most excited person ever in regard to my Camaro. Kept shaking my hand and he was more excited than I was by far when I got my car and I was pretty darn excited. The whole thing was hilarious. he would stand and look at the car in one spot, shake his head, and move to another spot, and just keep saying "oh my god, this m**fer is bad." after about 20 minutes, he finally left and gave me a honk on the horn and a big wave. I've had my encounters with people in the Camaro and some great conversations and experiences but this tops of all of them!! (and by the way, I told them there were lots of cars nicer than mine owned by my friends on the forum!)

Sounds better then the one I got. I had a guy say "man, I will cut my left nut off with a butter knife and trade it for this car right now." I didn't know what to think when he said that!!

Lol. That's how I feel about this car but I keep it inside. I tell people I love it and it's cool and all. But inside I'm the same way as that guy and wanna shout out how cool it is too. Cool story, rock on.

That's a great story! Thanks for sharing it.
One of the funniest things I've had said to me about my car came from an 8 year old boy who said, "It would be an honor to be run over by your car." I love these stories. |
