I believe the 1st Picture is a shot of behind the Gauge cluster with it removed (from the Drivers seat looking at the Dash).

The 1st pic is the gauge cluster removed. The only way I see to install the HUD is either remove the dash pad or see if it will fit down the hole cut in the dash. I was at the dealership my friend is a tech they were removing the dash off a 2011 LS Camaro they had the dash pad off w/in an hour. I plan to go this route when I install my HUD in a few weeks.

I will wait until 2SSRS completes his no matter what the HUD will be installed on my car.

Its like this..why do they make manhole covers round???

so they don't fall in......but if the hud is sorta rectangle..then with the trim piece, there is a real possibility that it will go into the opening and get fastened with clips...
See easy......

Yep that was my thinking I will wait and see what 2SSRS has to say once he is done with his install I know I will be taking mine to my buddy and we can do it at the dealership after hours.

That's what I was looking sorry.
I am following the steps of 2SSRS, I don't have all parts.
and I have more questions than answers
