Have to keep in mind that the factory makes changes as they go to tweak settings and other various things. They don't wait until the new year model to correct issues from the factory such as the loose spoiler bolts...those were corrected during the 2010 run.
An early VIN 2010 is probably more likely to have these small issues than a later 2010 model, and I'd say it is safe to assume that yours is a late VIN, so go for the 2010!

The bugs are kinda leaning me towards the 2011 now haha So anyone ever find any of these bugs that are still with the 2011? Also are there any advantages that the 2010 has over the 2011? I've been hearing all about the negative things about the 2010 so far. Are there any up sides to it besides the fact that it's cheaper?

Consider resale. The 11 is worth more.

How do you figure? Cause it's one year newer? If that's the only reason, it's pretty lame. Might as well wait for the '12 to come out. It'll be worth more, or wait, get the '13...no, '14...lol
I bought my '10 in april, with 0 issues in 10k miles.

The 10 has a year depreciation on it the 11 doesn't. Why the hell do you think they are offering the 10 for less money. Look at the books....How do I figure??? 40 years with GM!! Lame my ass...come by and I'll sell you some 10's at 11 prices.....
A year from now your 11 will be 1 year old....the 10 will be 2!! Basic math.....cars depreciate initially...fact of life. |

Oh I comprehend very well. Your logic of "waiting for the 13's and 14's is what I am questioning. And your statement of my comment being "lame"......it is pure economics.....drive the 10 off the lot and have a little old lady in a white Caddy total it....see what you get for it. Do the same with the 11 and then see. The difference will be real money out of your pocket. Sure...if you are going to keep it forever it really doesn't matter much BUT.....not many will keep a car that long.
It is your money. Buy the one that suits you. Ask your dealer to put both deals on paper, look at them side by side. Get his NADA and Black Books. Look up REAL value of the '10 and compare to what you are paying. I bet you are paying more that its REAL value. Happens every day...emotion makes dealers rich...realism saves you money. |

They did NOT work out the loose spoiler bolts on the 2010's run, as I bought a 2011 with those. Has anyone even considered the 3yr bumper to bumper warranty? And yes newer is worth more. And they have tweaked the factory line all along, so yes a lot of bugs have been worked out by the 2011 model run. And of course. There is the iPhone app from o star that does not work on 2010 models. There is a reason the 2010 is being sold cheaper you just need to decide if it worth it to you.
