I want to give big heart felt thank you to the H-Town C5 members for a great time and a warm welcome.

I had an awesome time and met lots of new people.

I can't begin to remember all the names, but what a great group.

Kelly, it's an automatic.... Congrats and you drove well.

I spun the tires my last run, but it didn't matter, I would have been smoked by the 12.7 regardless....

Hosed, Mike, and all the rest... Thank You....

First off thanks to all who participated. We had a super turnout and I sincerely hope everyone had a great time and hope to see you again next year... Thanks to LoneStar Motorsports Park for supporting the H-Town Camaro Club and offering up the track for this Camaro/Firebird only event. This one will no doubt grow as our club continues to grow...

ARD also sponsored us in the event and brought quite a few VERY HOT cars out. They also built up Michael Deaver's Mad600 L99/A6 which took the GEN 5 top prize. Thanks again to Owen and Jay for all their club support..

OK... here's a recap of the night...

25 cars met up in Katy for a caravan out to Sealy... and Keith (Camaro21) and Kyle Gilmour had a mini caravan down to Katy...

50 cars purchased tech cards and raced... a few others were in attendance, but didn't hit the track. We had folks from Beaumont, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Waco and a few other places in between.

Test and Tune ran from 6 to 8 and then started qualifying rounds... After 3 qualifying rounds, EVERYONE participated in Eliminations and were offered lane choice according to best reaction times during qualifying. Bottom line is everyone just kept running all night (didn't want anyone to get too relaxed...)

When Eliminations got down to the final 4 they were paired up by qualifying times and the run for Trophies began.
It got pretty exciting at this point and everyone was on the fence rooting for their favorite drivers...

Here are the Trophy Winners and times for the final runs. (Sorry if I don't have all the first names and screen names, most are C5 members)

WOW What a night. We had an amazing time out there.I would like to thank the h-town camaro club guys and gals for putting this event together

Had an absolute blast with everybody out there and I came home with completely bald tires Now I know why I couldn't repeat my 12.23 time from earlier in the afternoon. Time to put the drag radials on

Once again, Thanks to everyone who put this event together. Hope to see you guys next weekend at The Woodlands Car Show
