Any watch experts/gurus here?
Just have a question with my perpetual/automatic watch that I can't seem to find an answer for on google.
Even though it winds, it seems to stop quite frequently and have to wind it again by taking off my watch and trying to make the thing in the back spin. Never had that much problem with it before and it usually stays wounds for 24+ hours. Now only staying wound for maybe 5-6 hours. |

yep, we don't know how old your watch is......but I would bet a cleaning and oiling will take care of your issue.

most likely a loose or dirty spring, could just have a grain of sand in the internal gears. i agree with both others, a good cleaning should take care of it

Just had it serviced about a year ago actually. Watch is 3 yrs old, Tag Heuer Carrera.
I had a coworker tell me once he read on a Rolex forum that sometimes something just gets stuck in there and if you keep adjusting it forward for a couple days, and then set it back it fixes it. I tried it and it worked! |
