Based off running some quick numbers I don't see why a solid quality twin kit couldn't be put together in the $5-6k range depending on options. The turbo choice will dictate power but I would think 400 - 450rwhp would be on the conservative side of things. Most stock LS3 SS cars put down 365-370rwhp on our DynoJet for comparison.

If there are any local owners that would be interested in talking to me further about a kit and more specifics please shoot me a PM on here or an email to:

sales@ipsmotorsports.net

Thanks,
Jeff
im not local but deff interested.

i would be interested also. sure, i expect to pay extra cause i am n canada but i love the power a turbo can bring. i am aiming for 7-8 psi safely, so if you can reach that goal, i would consider buying it.

Thanks!

I will try to keep my eye on it while we are still finishing up getting moved. I don't really want to start any "New" projects until we are fully moved-in to the new place and have the ability to dedicate tech's to getting it done quickly

I believe that is more of an issue with the supply and return of the oil than specifically the oil pan. The STS turbos are mounted way at the back and the oil has to travel alot further than the IPS system will. That will probably make it of less concern. You can also opt for air/water cooled, ceramic bearing turbos that reduce the requirements for oil even more, but the expense is increased.

They haven't posted the parts list yet because they are in the middle of moving. The one for the V8 will be very similar.
http://www.ipsmotorsports.net/produc...oducts_id=4309

The turbos will smaller and you won't get the fuel system upgrade, but it should give you a good idea. Although he's busy, he is good about answering emails, so just email Jeff at the sales@ipsmotorsports.net. It sounds like this is going to be a top-notch kit.

Jeff, jump in here if I got anything wrong.

Yes, there has been a lot of progress. The new issue seems to be getting around the fuel limitations. I think I saw somewhere that Jim505 said 430 HP with his STS setup (on a thread where V8 guys were bashing the V6 guys), and I know either him or Z Madness reported around 350 RWHP at one point. I haven't found the dyno's yet, but all this sounds consistent with what Vince @ Trifecta told me when I started my turbo project.

Welcome back and good luck getting caught up. There a lot to read!

Last time I read one of your posts about tuning and the V6, you were saying that the Trifecta tune doesn't mean they cracked the ecm so to answer you "Nope nothing has been done"

last i checked hpt has no ambitions to crack the ecm for our cars...theyre pretty selective and only stick to most of the cash cow vehicles. I would love to see them do it though..they make top notch tuning equipment.

its not a true tune until the tune allows you to access fuel trim maps/ air flow maps etc and allow you to fine tune maps..which is more than what i believe vince and his equipment can do currently...he can get you close, but not close enough to make it a thorough tune.
