My dealer told me that my car was at the railyard here in town a few days ago, should be ready to drive off by the end of the week. He left me a voicemail this morning saying he was sorry, but it's actually still in Canada.

Congrats to everyone who received their cars!!! If you're in the Northeast, ENJOY! It looks like the forecast for the upcoming week remains pretty decent (no rain or SNOW).

Hoped to have ours by Thanksgiving but the folks at "camarotracking" tell me it looks as though ours was pulled for QC. I called Chevrolet Customer Service and they were polite, put me on hold for a while, then told me my car was built and should be en-route to the dealer; contact the dealer for more information. Customer assistance sounded pretty vague so I'm thinking it may be sitting in Oshawa while a QC issue is corrected but don't know for certain. Damn! This is frustrating. Went 3800 on 10/28/2010 and had hoped to at least have a rail car number by now.

10/28/2010 - (3800) Order produced and vehicle is ready for shipping.
10/28/2010 - (4000) Vehicle available to ship
10/28/2010 - (4150) Invoiced (Order is invoiced to the dealer)

Just spoke to my dealer and our car was dropped off around midnight or so!!!!!!!! I have no idea why Camarotracking didn't indicate any sort of rail drop off unless it came from Oshawa by truck. But the dealer told me they do get drop offs on the weekend so I'm thinking it depends upon the trucking company. Hope yours arrives soon as well!!!!

I was initially worried (news of no production week of Nov. 1) that some rail cards may sit because of no production this week and having partially filled cars from our week.

My car was built early in our week, Monday, October 25th and got to St. Louis in 8 days. Depending when your car was made that week, maybe it missed the earlier in the week MIDWEST train that mine was on.

I will pick my car up on Monday. They needed a couple of days to paint stripes, so I wasn't going to rush that process. I also found out that my MO plates of WRTH-W8 got accepted. Our plates are white with blue letter, so it should complement my colors. Everything is starting to fall in place.

I got my personal property tax statement, not going to be looking forward to seeing that this time next year.

Those plates are awesome! I just hope I get to say it some day soon!
