I thought no RPOZ28s were ever delivered with the RS package from the factory? o_O If they were, dear god we have an answer to the thread.

As for my ins: 23 and luckily (or unlucky take your pick) still able to hitch onto my parents insurance via underwriting.

To this day we still can't understand why my Exploder was costing us more than the T/A that takes its place. I guess in the end the constant sight of 'premium premium premium' on my card bill tells me every month where the savings go.

Parents on the other hand.. still scratch their heads since they both had Camaros and never had this happen to them.

But if they find out you have dropped a high powered V8 in your base V6, say after you have an accident, you could lose your insurance all together, or they can refuse to pay, just because you have a Base model, does not mean if they find out it has been modified that they can't penalize you for it.. The 98 and up 4th gen LS cars were probally the best.

I've been looking around and im starting to like the looks of the 3rd gen's.
No offense to the 4th gen owners but i think 4th gens look a little more like sports cars than muscle cars.

Well those are the Camaros. 3rd gens.. lets just say good luck finding one that doesn't have a dog tired 305 and isn't rusted to hell and back. They're fun but unless you find one with a 350/5spd combo (IE 89-92) stick with looking at 98-02s.

Or you could come to the Pontiac side and get a black one that looks like the spawn of satan. I saw the reflection of my car in a mirrored building today; it made me glad I bought this car and not a 3rd gen..

Screw the 90's, my favorite Z28 was a 1980. Haven't had the pleasure of owning a first gen (yet) but I've had quite a few 2nd 3rd & 4th gens.

The only 3rd Gens I thought looked decent were the IROC-Z's

Of course you could get a black 3rd Gen Trans Am and play Knight Rider LOL..
