did the 02 z28 come with steering wheel mount audio controls or no? or it depended on the sound package i guess?

Ive got a 2000 Z28 and it has steering wheel controls...maby it was part of the monsoon audio package?

00-02 z28/SS/v6 Camaros came factory with steering wheel radio controls.

98-99 did not.

I had a 2001 V6, it didn't have steering wheel control?

came with the optioned stereo package. and I believe it was factory for all 2002 models, but not sure off the top of my head.

I must be mistaken then. All of the '00-'02 f-bodys(v6&v8) that I've seen have had the steering wheel radio controls.

Must of just been an option. I thought they were factory for those years.

well, a lot of things that are options get thrown in by the dealership when they initially order the cars. kinda like the rear defogger (from another thread) not being a factory standard install for the mustangs and people not realizing it and not ordering it.

Did not realize that(especially the rear defogger on the Mustangs, I would have assumed it came factory). Thanks for the info.
