Question Best Place for a Bass Knob in 2010 Camaro?

So...where is the best place to mount a base knob in a 2010 Camaro? Pics would be helpful.

Hmmm...mine is not used that often, so I put it under the dash, by my right leg. Never touch it when driving or any other time - easily adjusted when needed.

Different types of music are so widescale in bass...That's why
right at your fingertips make it handy...I always play around with
it...Installing for that spot is a little extreme but worth it...

To be honest not sure exactly how they put the bass knob their. My stereo installer just asked me where I wanted to put it and that's the location I picked. Sry guys.

Seen my installer do it...You pretty much gotta take apart
the whole console...Gear shift both sides and go nuts...All
that for 1 wire...Definetly worth it...

Nice job!

I've seen a pic of another member's ride that has his bass knob inside the console glove box. Kinda awkward to adjust when driving. Right now I think I would prefer it mounted in the console up near the shifter.

Here's a pic of the knob...my amp doesn't have a line in for bass control so I'm going to have to use this unit between the RCA's.

That part of the console comes up very easily! It's also VERY easy to route the wire down the passenger side to the front, then into the console. It all just pops up...

Why not drill a hole and mount it in that (otherwise useless) ear-shaped depression in the dash panel (driver's side) right beside the ignition switch? I've seen guys use 3M tape to mount engraved VIN# placards there (which fills the space nicely) but that's where I'm mounting mine once my system is complete...

Just food for thought (sorry, no pic).
