I think the old school logo looks very out of place on the 5th Gen.

Thanks for the responses. I love the classic look and am now sold. Only problem I have is that SLP is closed on Saturday or I'd be there today picking them up. Oh well I'll have to wait till Monday.

Also thanks for the pics and tips. I used Power Pro fishing line to get the stockers off. I hated those square GM emblems on the lower front fenders. Cut me every time I washed the car and tore up my terry cloth towels.

The pics are great too!

BTW, SLP also sells the rear panel blackout vinyl that will look hot on your IOM car.

For those that want to go with the bare look in the rear, I was told that the 2011's don't have the two holes in the rear panel. That should also make removing the rear bowtie much easier since you don't have to work your way around the two studs. FYI, there are no nuts on the back of the 2010, the studs are just there for correct placement.
