I have been running that setup for 5K and have had no issues. I know it looks close, but it will not hit.

That's what I needed to hear! Thanks a ton man for the good news! I was hoping it's just Chevy being over-cautious. I'll just have the tire shop do it Monday since Chevy won't and pray that mine isn't any closer than yours.

And I'm planning to go back to Chevy for my next oil change and tell them I need those tires that they refused to mount for me rotated!

So if running 2 rears the rim is just "deeper" into the wheel well? The fronts dont stick out? Anyone have 2 Midnight silver rears that are mint that want 2 fronts to trade in Michigan?
