Here is a link to the 9inch rear conversion, but you still have to get the center section with gears like I showed in the picture. We ordered everything we need from Kevin at Lingenfelter. http://www.driveshaftshop.com/media/...ro_9inch_1.jpg

Here's the link to their homepage. Click on the kit for the 2010 camaro kit and they have the prices. It does not include the center section with the gears.

Lingenfelter can get this kit for you. They are one of their distributors. Also they can help you set up the center section with the gear that will work best for your application.

They also said there were 26 random people shot between our hotel and the airport. The airport was also closed for a day because of the violence. The following day when our plane came the pilot and crew never got off the plane as we all quickly boarded and got the hell out of dodge. It was quite an experience!!!!
Good news about your son.

Good news that you made it home safely.

Bad news about the violence.

Glad you guys made it out in one piece!! Congrats to your son!
Mexico is really nasty right now, they are averaging about 20 murders a day within about 45 mile radius of where I live here in Texas. You never see this stuff on the news, but there have been three cartel hits, here in my little town here in Texas, along with six kidnappings, and a shootout on the Port of Entry with American DHS agents.
Go figure we know more about what is going on in the Middle East than right here in the USA.

Mike,
That sux.. I'm not coming to visit you...

I hope you are on the far side of town away from all the action. You got a concrete bunker to hide in?

Well... I'm jumping in with the 9" Rear upgrade with the rest of you..

I found the part I was looking for.. just ordered a Quaife Differential for a 9" ford. This is used for road racing cars and can handle the power our cars make. The Quaife will balance power between the rear tires and apply more power to the outer wheel in a corner. It's perfect for Autocrossing!

The quaife will fix the issue i was having when exiting a sharp corner - and breaking traction on one tire (the inside one). I had a big problem with that when autocrossing my car on the tight courses. This cost me a lot of time pretty often as I had to be real easy on the throttle exiting corners with the stock setup so I wouldn't just smoke the tires off. It will also help with turn-in as well for the corners.

I think I am going to go with Strange Engineering aluminum center section (still deciding on this carrier) and 3.90 gears for the 3rd member to reduce weight and the drive shaft shop's 9" kit/axles/drive shaft.

Congratulations 600, that sounds like a good choice. I was looking at that Quaife diff online. It looks interesting. It'll be good to see how it works for you.
