Forced air choice

Which is better? Pro-charger, magnaflow or kenne bell for a L99?

Think you will find people like each one. Also depends on how much power you want. Also if you use your car as your primary mode of transport.

From reading others on the forums you can go for 500 to 600 hp with the stock internals. If you push for more power you will want to go with forged internals.

If staying stock internal on an L99, it would be best to go w/ a positive displacement blower such as the Whipple, Kenny Bell, or Magnacharger. Reason being you can`t rev the L99 AFM lifters very high so you will need to make your power sooner. Centrificals like procharger need to be spun up in the rpm`s to make power. My personal Choice is Whipple. I made 536rwhp w/ nothing more than the Whipple, ADM CAI, ARH longtubes and magnaflow catback. The stock cam in the L99 also is a big restriction for boost. The LS3 cam is much better but still not as good as a blower cam. Here is a link to my build:

Bolt on best before blower 12.22@113.29 w/ nothing but ARH headers, catted x-pipe, ADM CAI and a tune on stock Pzero`s!

Other car 2008 C6 Ls3, z51, A6, Npp Exhaust, best bonestock pass 11.80@118.82, Number 2 on the Corvette Forums Bonestock fastest list..

Nice response GMRULZ. I am leaning towards the Whipple or Magnacharger.

(Moms voice in your head) if he told you to jump off a bridge would you?

Everyone will have an Opinion, but unless your up close and personal on a regular basis Friends don't get to see all that goes in to these supercharger systems.

After working with all Brands of superchargers since the early 90s I have developed love for certain brands and not because of the brand but the Quality and Performance, Fit and Finish as a package.

The Debate of Centrifugal VS Positive Displacement will go on for EVER and no one will win.

I Talk to my customers and get a feel for how they drive, What they're car is used for and what they're goals are now and in the future, and Fit them with the Proper Supercharger.

Ted.

Ok Ted, I need some verbal blue prints. Hope you don't think I'm giving you the run around, cause I been asking you questions back to my first tune question. I'm getting my ducks in a row before we build this "stinger". It's not my everyday driver but I do drive it alot. I'm not worried bout fuel mileage, being fastest on the street, or breaking land speed record. With that said, I just want my camaro to jump when I say jump, walk when I say walk, and eat a 5.0 every now and again. Thanx bro
