when i shift fast, i get the 1-2 grind most of the time.

omething to look forward to when I take delivery of mine. What I find humorous is no one has mentioned is hydraulic issues. 4th gens where notorious for this.

There are some posts contemplating if the throwout could be the culprit. My master cylinder has major squeeks early on also like something was dragging.

I just wish they would put something better in the new v6 so i could pull mine, drain it, and use it as a boat anchor. Maybe the turbo v6 will have something decent if its released.

If It didnt have this transmission, i wouldmt be considering selling a car i wanted for 3 years after owning it 11 months.

Took mine to the dealer for faulty hood sensor for anti-theft. Told them about my 1st to 2nd grind at higher rpms...they told me put some more miles on it. That was at around 1,500 mile. I have 5,600 mile now and still have the same grind.

Add me to the list of grinding. It has been doing it since 1500 miles.

BTW my car has been sitting at the dealer for 3 weeks. I was notified today that it will be replaced with a new one. They could not get the parts to fix my old. The new one only has to make it another 91k miles... We'll see if they get it in before the 30 days are up.

Somethings going on with them swapping so many of these for new units. I think theyre requesting them to send to engineering to figure out whats going on. If they knew the solution they would just be shipping out rebuild kits.

I have your at #60 mike. I updated yours to say swap. Keep us posted. It seems like theres alot of cars with the issue that arent gettign repairs.

Is the thread is keeping people from telling GM to fix it? If we dont go in there and demand a solution there will be no long term remedy other than trading it in.

1st to 2nd bind/crunch at high RPM quick shifts. It started at just over 2,000 miles and I'm just over 3,000 now. Mine is a 2011. Clearly no changes were made to the new model year.

damn they havent changed them. this is going to be a problem. i havent gotten any grinds. but i have seen that it refuses to go into gear at times. so idk,,,
