Yes, I use these. It works great and has not messed with the finish on any vehicle I use it on. Makes drying fast without leaving watermarks.

I prefer my leaf blower. It's safer. I've heard stories from people that used those. They got one little piece of debri on them and it left a nice hefty scratch in their paint.

Exactly!!! they work until, and it will happen......

I use it only for my DD dinged up SUV, and to squeegee my outdoor glass tables, good for window washing too.

Not only have I heard stories, I've seen the damage first hand that those things do and it had nothing to do with debris getting caught in them. Those things are flat out brutal to your paint but you have to have some flawless paint to see just how much damage they do. If your paint is all jacked up, you would never know.

Watch and learn.

I prefer the air hose from my compressor to get the trapped water out and then the absorber chamois....no scratches so far I use a sponge to soap wash the car and a mitt for the wheels and tires only. No towel drying!! or it's spider webs on finish time.

Both the sponge and the chamois are no-no's in my book. You definitely need to see my washing video series... as soon as I get it uploaded.

Mine's already starting to get a handful of those fine scratches in the clear and I'm
doing two bucket washes and using microfiber to dry - everything laundered after
each time. Everything for the wheels are separate from the stuff for washing the
body. Maybe a leaf blower instead? Frustrating.

Exactly what are you using to actually wash the car with? Also, are you using a foam gun at the proper time?
