it is the new powerdyne(they went under and got purchased by another company),,, they used to have the cheapest kits for most cars,, most of there kits were not intercooled and had self contained fluids and most had an internal belt drive instead of gear to gear like most other units

Looks like a cenri kit. I'm guessing it doesn't come with an intercooler. Must be a great kit if it's already sold out

We did take over the Powerdyne inventory but produced our own replacement self contained gear driven unit which we debuted at SEMA. Kits and head units are now in production and will be available in Jan. Dyno numbers are coming soon . We have yet to post about it on here since they are not yet available but added it to our site for all of the great contacts that we made at SEMA who loved the kit. Our unit uses a turbo style billet impeller which produces boost at a lower rpm than a normal centrifugal unit. It is also CNC machined from solid billet aluminum which allows our satin unit to have a machined finish rather than a rough casted appearance.

Brett, does this kit come with intercooler, injectors and other parts that come with other kits? Or the advertised price is a tuner kit?
For the 9psi, what's different than the 6psi unit.

Thanks and welcome to the forum!

The base kit is 6 psi and will include our dyno tune on a SCT Programmer. The 9 psi kit will include a different tune as well as injectors. Both kits are non intercooled. We purchased all of the SCT software for our kits and will get dyno numbers and our tune as soon as our clutch is replaced. About 6 different kits will be released shortly after the first of the year for different applications.

Thanks for your interested and we can't wait to make this kit available!

ummmm seriously?? 9 psi non intercooled, stock motor? Not to knock your kit, but this sounds like a recipe for disaster... you could use water meth to cool it off but I wouldnt want to depend on it too be my only form of cooling down the iat's

Even with 6psi, you should use intercooler, otherwise your chance of detonation goes much higher plus with hot air you make less power.

What options are there for cooling this kit? It's exciting to see more affordable supercharging options for the camaro. My brothers itching for me to put one on his car now.

custom piping and intercooler and all the fab work to mount and make piping,, would probly bring your$$ to the price of just buying another brand that comes with all the parts including an intercooler

unless they are planning an intercooler kit

my points exactly, its always nice to see new options, and new ideas, but I just could never justify spending money on a kit that will cause detonation and needing a new motor, unless you want to run c-16 and water meth all the time lol

The old Powerdyn'es worked for the price. They seemed to be limited to around 400rwhp on the LS1's.People would gain 80rwhp or so.When you tried to push them the internal belts would break. Haven't tried one of these gear driven one's.They might be limited too by the non-intercooler design BUT look at the price.Do you expect it to keep up with the blowers that are twice as much $$ ?
