Well we have received our prototype and test assembly for our TT 5 gen project here at the shop.

We will be releasing a full install kit including all the necessary components to bolt this fuel system into your Camaro with proper wiring relays, and hydraulic pressed Teflon fuel hoses for those using either petrol or ethanol.

So far everything with this system has gone to plan and fitment is very good (and this is a simple system that most moderate level technicians should be able to handle especially once we release the kit and instructions). This particular project will clear 1000 wheel horsepower so it will be a good benchmark for the triple systems capacity.

More information on this project is also on our blogspot page http://ipsdomestic.blogspot.com/2010...-fuel-hat.html

If anyone has questions or would like to get in on a pre-order please let me know

Regards

I am currently running a slp 575 stage TVS2300, kooks long tubes, comp exhaust with CAI. I am at 550 rwhp, I am planning to do a blower cam package upgrade and meth kit in next year or so. I was looking and under the impression that I need to upgrade my fuel system will a double pump be all I need to do for fuel system upgrade or is there more that needs to be changed, or does the larger fuel injectors need to be done also? Am I also needing fuel upgrade now at 550 rwhp and current mods or am I good until I do the cam upgrade? How do I determine this? And can u give me a price .

Fuel line size

We are running 1240 rwhp with stock fuel line (but with a return line) and stock LS9 fuel rails.

At the fuel pressures most EFI systems operate at, the couple psi drop across the rails make very little difference in injector size. In addition if you have a mechanical regulator in the engine compartment (or an electronic control feedback system with the pressure sensor in the engine compartment) the pressure drop just makes the fuel pump work a little harder since you need slightly higher pressure at the pump to achieve the desired pressure at the regulator.

Most of the sizing requirements people use for figuring out line sizes are based on low pressure systems and the fuel carrying capacity is much higher at current system pressures and the percentage pressure drop is much lower.

As a point of reference, take a look at your injector orifice sizes - add up the 8 injector orifice cross sections and then compare that to your fuel line size (and all 8 injectors aren't firing at once).

So if you had 2 pumps, you could independently run 2 seperate BAP's, at the same time.
On a side note, Autometer has a new Boost gauge coming out, that has 2 seperate trigger wires built in. You can set the on or off point on the gauge. This would allow you to independently activate each BAP at different boost settings. Its really cool. Weve been playing with it for a few weeks now, and it works like a charm.

I know - we use it as well as 2 standard 40 amp units from time to time-

Here is what it looks like in the first 1000hp maggie build we did:

I assume if wired directly into the pumps eliminating the FPCM you just place one to each pump and eliminate the parallel wiring of the system.
You cannot wire a boostapump on the output side of a GM FPCM....PERIOD!

The only FPCM we recommend adding a boostapump into is the factory one that comes in the camaro - use a 40amp on the input side of the fpcm..NOT THE OUTPUT SIDE.

The Cadillac CTSV FPCM should never have a boostapump installed on to it,input or output.

You could keep the factory one to feed the cell

And have 30 gallons of gas to make up for the decrease of mileage when ya have a 1000 plus hp under the hood.

Hey Brandon,

Nice to speak with you a few days ago. Will the triple pump set-up be ready in December? I am hoping to get one and install it if it's available.

Cincy Speed is doing my new build and they got it direct from Fore Precision. Awesome piece and the 3 Walbro 255 pumps finish it off.
