I removed the org ones and bought 2 new sets at the dealership for $20 then took em to a shop and got em painted. Then put em on myself and they came out clean.

I've got the Gen 5 ones in white... solid white pieces so if they scratch or something the only color that shows is white... unlike a scratched painted one.

Finally.... I have been reading posts on this site for 2 months and I have been banging my head against the wall trying to insert a $%^&* picture.

Thank you.

Is this info anywhere or is there a secret handshake that I missed?

Who is driving this bus anyway?

hard to tell if it is a ss or rs car unless you are up close to the car?

I went to the dealer and bought 2 of the ones that are on the back and stuck them on the sides. Kinda hard to see in this pic.

I'd stick with the 5th gen' badging provided by GM and save your money for performance mods instead. 1st gen' badging looks best on the original ponys of the 60's IMO.
