Sorry guys, I dont have any specials right now but PM me for a special discount coupon code

I'm heading out of town till Monday and will be in areas that have no internet or cell phone reception (scary huh LOL)
Give me a call Monday if you want.

I've added a little good info to our on line axle descriptions since the compitition seems to think they have to mud sling now that they have some real compitition.

Thanks guys.
Chris

Great choice. You will be very happy and never have to worry about your axles breaking. Now its time to start replacing other compnents.

i am doing a suspension overhaul. the axles will be the last piece.
solid subframe bushings
diff bushings
driveshaft loop
subframe conector with tunnel brace
trailing arms and bushings
and the axles.

I have never been disapointed with my hennessey it leaves me amazed everytime i drive it. It is my understanding from everyone that i just dont know what i am missing. I cant wait to see.

I have actually heard of the DSS 1000hp axels breaking on a few cars that didnt have 1000FWHP. Dont remember if they were lowered or not and dont know how well the G force units hold up in comparison but just wanted to throw that out there. The circumstances could have been out of DSS control I just remember thinking it was odd.

FYI -
It is not just with Camaros. This happened yesterday to one of our Challenger friends that attended C5Fest:

Speedster Edit: Subsequent posts on the Challenger Forum have shown that the axle that failed was on the order of 5 years old, so the argument against its strength is unwarranted at best. But this axle was being used to replace another one that had failed. The age of that one is presently unknown.

As a rule, I shy away from "negative" discussions, but this is from a direct contact and racer safety is now an issue; this axle snapped while his wife was trying to make a pass - not cool.

Note: If any moderator feels this post is out of line, please feel free to delete/modify it. Sorry if I get cranked when safety becomes an issue. :(
Tell your Challenger friends that we will be entering that market here real soon

Hi, you might want to post the entire thread from the dodge forums. for those who think this is one sided please read. It was a 5 year old axle that had been in 2 other cars !!!!!! The axle on the car that failed was made with one thick axle and one skinny, the skinny axle broke. This is why on the new designed 1400Hp axles we are making with both larger bars (30 spline up from a stock 28 spline that would come on most CV's) The camaro rear cradle like the SRT has very soft bushings holding the subframe to the car. On higher level cars and 6 speed's it would be wise to address the wheel hop problem properly with suspension parts designed to stop the cradle from moving around.

DSS axles

I know im a little late at posting but i thought you might be interested in what makes our axles different, this is the same type axle that lingenfelters car ran the 8 second pass with.

1. Full certified 300m center bars (not 28 spline)there is a reason the viper T56 uses a 30 spline and its the reason we do too. (same center bar used in Lingenfelters 6 speed car)

2. certified 4340AQ cages REM polished with re-designed radios on the cage window

3. Our Center race in the Cv is certified 300m, this should need no explanation .....

4. Rolled splines, most know a forging is always stronger than billet. Here at The Driveshaft shop we roll our splines in house, this is by far the strongest way to form a spline and is far superior cut splines. by rolling a spline you are taking the material that was already there and re-forming it. by cutting a spline you are removing material and the inherent grain structure that its made with. don't take our word for this, please search the internet and see what spline is better. Rolled spline are up to 35% stronger and with a stronger cage the bars needs it.

We had been making the 1000hp axles with one large bar and one skinny bar but we realized all we were doing was making one axle stronger and one weaker. this proved true as we have breakage with this design. now that were using the new material from Sweden and using the 30 spline on both side the 8 second pass speaks for itself. As anyone knows that has had a broken 1000hp axle we are upgrading the axles to the 1400hp ones no charge.

In case anybody really wonders how strong our axles are, Lingenfelters car that runs the same centersection as our 1400hp axles just ran 8.99 in a 6 speed car. we stand on our acomplishments and the axles speak for them selves. congrats to the crew at Lingenfelter for a job well done

Did you want your axles powder coated to match your car? We did a set a couple weeks in blue and they looked great.
You will be getting some of our new design outer stubs, we removed almost a pound of material out of them compared to the old design.

Thanks
Chris

Chris - What did you do to remove a pound from the outer stubs? What would it cost to swap mine out for the new design as I am always looking to shave weight from any part.

The GForce axles are getting ready to show that they will handle over 1400rwhp in a 6 speed as well.
