What sort of 60's were you averaging? And what were you launching at? I'm going to the track for the first time with this car tomorrow at Fontana...Wish me luck that I don't embarass the C5 crew out there. Lol. Been a long time since I've been to the track.

Hahaha. Were you just dumping the clutch or riding it out? I always found there that a lot of gas feathering off of the line helped out. I'm hoping I don't do the same thing tomorrow, and pull high 2's 60's. We'll see.

Definitely not bad for first time in that car! I have yet to run mine, so i think i might hit the next one and see how i do. i figure.. with what i saw tonight, i can beat that ford escort and maybe the rx-8! Lol. even the civics were putting down good times, even though they were all boosted. might want to try looking in to that seperate resevoir thing everyones been doing.. get all that old nasty fluid out and put in somethin better.

Anyways, like I said, there's always been traction issues there. It's pretty much a parking lot your dragging on. What about Barona? Or Irwindale? Anyone been to these tracks?
Havent been to Barona, but I heard it was really nice. Might check out the next time i feel like gambling.

Hmmm...running stock tire pressure and/or doing light burnouts to heat it up, too? Sounds like you were doing everything right...I think it comes down to the parking lot factor again. Lol. That's why I stopped going there.

Plus Barona is an actual 1/8 mile track. The prep has GOT to be better there.
