i talked to a guy today in a back woods dealership ((to get a lower allocation)) and he said that it would cost me a couple thousand dollars to order....is that right?

and he said he had to talk to his boss to see when they could start taking orders?? havent they already started

no. they may take a deposit, but only give a deposit if it is fully refundable.

Personally, i wouldnt give a $2,000 deposit anyways.

It doesnt cost them anything to put the order in the system.

I made a deposit of $1,000 and it is fully refundable and will go for my downpayment. Based on the allocation process I would think these "backwoods dealers" will be slower in getting the product deliverd. Could be wrong, only a guess. But the fact he didnt even know you could order or pre order one in this case would kinda make me look elsewhere.

yeah butt even at that if my numbers low enough im looking at shorter time frame than a higher number elsewhere lol if he is bsing me then

not necessarily. yes you might get the 2nd or third one to roll thru that dealership. but that dealership might not be getting its 2 or 3 for some time after other dealerships have already recieved and sold their 6+ allocations
