Perhaps you are thinking the SS test?

Good question. I don't have the numbers for the CAI. I stopped researching a few months ago. I have had my INJEN since mid-April. At the time it was one of the best and the only one pulling from down low.

If you have some numbers or the post I would love to see them.

Thanks.

No, scrming was right, I was thinking the V8 test...although, wouldn't similar results be expected? Anybody? I don't know of Jannetty re-testing the V6 to include the ADM scoop, as they did with the V8.

I was just looking at Edmunds track test for the V8 Camaro and the V6 Camaro has anyone here compared the two?

Lets look at the Numbers

These numbers are for the stock automobiles by Edmunds.

V8 Camaro
0-60 Times: 5.0 sec
1/4 mile Times: 13.0 sec
Skid Pad: 88.9 sec
Slalom: 68.6 sec
Braking: (Brembo's) 109 Ft

6.2 L (378 cuin) 426 LS3
6.2 L (378 cuin) 400 L99

V6 Camaro
0 - 60 Times: 6.0 sec
1/4 mile Times: 14.2 sec
Skid Pad: 89.9 sec
Slalom: 68.2 sec
Braking: (stock) 107 Ft

3.6 L (220 cuin) 312 LLT

Okay this is not meant to Diss the V8 Guys, because I feel they have an awsome car .
But our V6 really does preform very well right out of the box.

Suprising numbers there actually... Braking and skidpad. Being lighter does help.

well its not always numbers you should look at. the v8 " feels" allot faster with daily driving.

i would say it performs well for the price and being a new car. i dont think its a "fast " car but maybe a quick car

But until you drive the V6 you really don't know what it's like. Rev it to 7000 rpm and this engine is still pulling like crazy.

Its true the V8's are awesome cars and the equally awesome v6's are right on their heals. I agree with "spyderbuddy" the powerband in these are nothing short of amazing. Chevy made two great cars!
