It can get a lot worse. We had a Labrador that would target anyone sunbathing in the backyard with a brown shower. THAT made that dog difficult to love.

but he does like to rub his neck/shoulder in bird poop... that way when I bring him back inside he comes up to me and does the whole "hey you should get a courtesy sniff out of this"

The wife has a malti poo and I noticed this weekend he was munching on something in the yard . . . it was rabbit pellets!

It's called coprophagia. Dogs love to eat dog poop (most dogs) because it is high in protein, especially cat poop. There is something called Copraban that you can feed them. It's not a prescription and it makes their poop taste like crap (haha). You can also feed it to your cats if your dogs eat the cats crap. I don't recommend deworming them without seeing a vet. Nemex works great, if they have hooks or rounds. They could have other parasites that Nemex would not get. Best bet, go to a vet and get a $10 intestinal parasite exam done, and let the professionals treat him. Any more questions let me know.
