Just a question? What happen to the officers calling On star and just having the car shut off, instead of the chasing.

I'm sorry but 3 shots and a pair of beer isn't enough for a decent sized man to get that wasted off of unless it was all back to back. No doubt he was tipsy but I still can't believe he out ran the cops for that long. Here in TX you'd be shot before you ever got back on to the road. I'd bet good money.

Ok that may be the most ridiculous part... Not the driving, not the spike strips, not the apparent lack of ability by the police... But that damn window took a savage beating before giving in. I'm not sure what they did to those windows but damn they are hard core.

OnStar is unable to shut off the V6 Camaro. They can only shut down the V8 engine on the Camaro. I'm not sure why.

Turned out to be an expensive day for that dude..

big ticket
big court date
4 tires and probably wheels as well
window
no doubt scratches on car
scratched from glass on seat

I'll take a taxi myself or let the wife drive (she doesn't drink) it's only $20.00 instead of a LOT...

I have a 2LT/RS but I've got the black "heritage" wheels on right now for winter tires -- the wheels mean nothing in telling trim level (LS, LT, RS, SS)

True. I didn't think about the possibility that the tires are changed. Although, I didn't see any RS badges, but it's possible that the car was debadged, too.

The heritage wheels can fit over SS brakes (from what I have heard on here). So it was a V6, more than likely an LS then.
