From my professional background, I have to say that was some of the worst attempts at stopping a vehicle I've ever seen. Early on, the failure of the rear pursuit vehicle to get close enough to the camaro to block it in only caused the possibility of injury or death of officers as well as allowing a way out for the suspect. The use of a handgun to try and break the windows is highly frowned upon, as there could be a chance for fire and look where the barrel in a couple of the attempts was pointing, right at the officers using them. Why any of these officers didn't have an asp or baton is beyond me. The asp would easily destroyed a window .The guys trying to throw spike strips is also laughable, it's not advised to step infront of a moving vehicle to sling them out, and then leave them in the roadway for the pursuing officers to hit. All in all, it's good that they finally stopped him , but in all purposes, this was a massive fail for the depts. involved and should be shown in training as what NOT to do in a pursuit.

Someone was telling me about this today. I'm not condoning evading the police, but I kind of enjoyed seeing the Camaro get some air time Hell, I guess GM did a damn fine job on the windows. It really took a lot to break 'em!
