for black cars, that would be a really good idea (well, not only for black cars)

Placed the order today. Still not crazy about cutting into the car but it does look great.

I am LOVING the tinted version!! This is on my "wish list" but would be bumped up higher on the list if it was tinted already!

Here's a better pic of my tinted bar in the sunlight...
I just have to epoxy it to get rid of that bowing. Last edited by Tx1Lt; 01-03-2011 at 10:43 PM. |

How easy do these bend? Do they need to be back cut in the middle to make the crease? Would it be better to heat the center in order to bend it? Or is it pliable enough to just bend into shape... Right, and that's why I decided to bite the bullet and do it. I can always go back to square one if my tastes change. I may do the tint if it stands out too much but with IOM and white stripes...it may not stand out as much as it would a black or CGM car.

Customer Review:
AAC Custom dual 22" LED V2 Scanners! Advanced Automotive Concepts made me a dual spliced version of their 22" V2 Scanners. It is similiar to their 15" pair they sale for the V scoop on the hood but I installed these longer ones to take up both grilles using the same remote. I have to admit it turned out even better then I had imagined. I have bought the White/Blue headlight and foglight halos, Aqua Blue LED kit, 5202 Plasma LED bulbs, Crystal Blue HOD's, Super White license plate LED's, and now the dual spliced V2 22" Scanners. I must say they are the best aftermarket lighting company for the 5th gen Camaro's and they have very great staff. Thanks a lot AAC and Jonathan , let me know what you guys think...... |

Illegal. The only thing you can have on is a steady white light on but for some reason they didnt make it to do that it seems to be only madeto have a steady red, blue or green but that is also illegal. ONLY White on steady is legal in every state
