Wow, more 1st gens than 5th gens I think at the Kanehoe Toys for Tots car show. Miles of cars there and alot of the 1st gens that only come out to play at this event.

Also the Mililani Car show had a good showing of camaros too. I think Akahi Park had one on saturday too.

Couldnt get any good shots of my car since they packed the cars next to each other. Even at Bobs Big Boys, parking lot was packed with cars on each side, so no good shots. Bought a new camera yesterday, so will test it out on the car before I leave.

P.S. I didnt like the Synergy Green camaro when I saw a picture, but it looks nice in person.

i would highly suggest getting justin to do your halos for those who want them. i did them myself, and boy was it tough, just getting your headlights to separate took me most of the day.

well i finished installing my T3 ports onto my bumper and it doesn't look too bad, although there are a few minor gaps which i hope my body shop can fix. ill post pics when its all done.

If it's the center mail slot insert, Gmpartsdirect has it for $20 plus shipping. Patrick at gmpartshouse is a actual person that I've bought stuff from and has not let me down yet. He will price match internet competitors. His advertised price is $25 plus shipping. If I had to guess, around $40-$45 total to Hawaii. Patrick's contact is in the classified areas.

I galled my O2 sensor trying to remove when installing my headers. Got pissed at myself and had Patrick 2-day air it to me. Cutter was $180/each, Servco was $135/each, and both were non stock special order items. Patrick charged $80 plus shipping. Even though he had to drop ship them, I got them 2 days later.

I looked at buying a spare mail slot piece when I thought about modding mine. Sorry, I like to keep my unused OE parts just in case I sell.

I do have a spare foam mold housing for the air compressor in the trunk battery area I bought that I can't return if any interest in that.

i agree, patrick from gmpartshouse is an outstanding person. in fact he was the one whom i bought my SS bumper from, as well as all my other OEM parts. i was hoping someone here had one for a cheaper price so i wouldn't have to pay the shipping fee to get it shipped here.

Just ordered a KB 2.8. Getting my bung welded on the headers next week. Any suggestions where to drill the firewall for vacuum line and wiring for gauges? I'm gonna pull the driver inner fender lining this weekend to check that area and inside car.

WRX? You got 2 many toys. . When I run, I'll be the slowest car in my class due to driver skill.

Is the v6 upper lower grill the same as the SS?

What is the difference between the V6 and SS lower grill? I like the size of the V6 grill slots and got my front "parking sensors" adjusted for full frontal clearance already. I should look up the parts# to see if the exploded diagrams show the difference.

BTW, I thought you went with a custom bumper? OE SS?

i went with the SS bumper with T3 ports. The SS lower grill has more of those horizontal brackets.

There's an existing hole in the firewall but a little PITA to access. It is right above the power cable (about 1.5" up). You can "feel" for it from inside the engine bay, just stick your hand up behind the brake. Pretty decent size and it is already smooth.

They are different. The bottom of the front lips are different. Not sure why that was necessary.
