Going back to the tire conversation...

I need some tires to fit the stock rims. I've heard good things about the Nitto NT-05, but they are on back order... like to Japan... So does anyone know of some good sticky tires that I can get that will fit the stock rims?

I have some barley used Nitto Invo's here at my shop that was on one of my employees, wifes sedan. Sizes are 245-40-20 & 275-35-20. He will take $700 for them. They have approx 3000 miles on them.

your saying the Invo's are better on the drag strip than the 555R's? i guess we should ask what type of tire he was looking for. yes, if he plans to just do 95% of street use with of the tires, i would go with the Invo's.

i've seen camaros turning out great 60' times at the track with the 555R's. i just bought a new set of them for $350 total on ebay. i have never personally had them yet, but i will soon find out how the hook up on the street and strip. on my pro-street pickup i had BF drag radials, and they hooked up perfectly on the street and strip. too bad they dont make them in 20's. i did read that MT will put out their drag radials for 20" next spring

I had the Nitto 555r's in a 315/35/17 on my 4th gen and they hooked real well on the track for me and still did pretty decent for driving around town. Just dont expect high milage out of them but you have to sacrifice somewhere and with a treadwear of 100 they are pretty soft. I am pretty sure you will like them. Wish I could find a set for myself at that price.

No, I was sleeping. I missed the R, I thought you were reffering to Nitto 555's which I have owned, and they were total poo. I didn't hear him mention drag strip, which is why I over looked the R.
