Reset Tire Monitoring System after Rotating

I accidently switched my 2 rear tires when I was lowering my car and didn't notice until after I had it alligned. How would I reset the system so it would get the correct reading on the correct side. I don't want to switch the wheels back since it was alligned already. Thanks,

You can find it in the owner manual page 9-60 , i think you turn ignition on then start inflating driverside tire till you hear a horn chirp then frnt passenger -horn chirp then rear passenger -horn chirp last is driver side rear tire 2 horn chirps .

open your glove box......get the manual out.....in the VEHICLE CARE section (chapter 9) you will find on Page 9-60 the process of how to reset your TPMS after you have rotated your tires, or after you have installed new tires.

Thanks, I read it in the past but didn't realize that it was for if the tires were rotated also. I thought I might need to have it put on a machine. thanks guys,

Your alignment will not be altered by rotating the tires. Feel free to swap them back. Alignment is referenced off of the plane of the face of the wheel, and it is identical on both rear wheels. The only thing that adversely affects alignment is any sort of suspension geometry change, such as lowering or lifting, or steering rack adjustments.
