no fair, you guys had all the fun when i was gone! lol

aren't there some abandoned rail road yards around here somewhere? those should have a lot of open road, at least enough for a 1/4.

Just a heads up to anyone that drives their car on NAS Jax - if you park anywhere near the hospital make sure you cover your car. My car sat in patient parking for 4 hours and got a ton of paint overspray from the construction work they're doing.

The contractor or the base would actually be responsible for the damages!!!

Probably wouldn't be able to prove it. Plus I'm leaving for the Middle East on Saturday and won't be back for 4 months.

First Coast Car Council
Race Track Road & State Road 13 (San Jose) in the Food Lion shopping center
Fruit Cove Springs
5PM - 8PM

FCMM will be going to this cruise-in and you are invited. We will be meeting at Race Track Road at 3:00 to make sure we have parking. Looks like it might be cool so dress for it. We have a full night planned, we will be going to the Sonic after the cruise-in and about 9:30 we will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs at the new SSP shop.
Hope to see you there

A couple of other small threads have been started regarding Hot Rod Power Tour, but I figured I'd stick it here on the main one if no one has already.

The first leg of the tour is from Cocoa Beach, FL (Saturday, June 4, 2011) to Valdosta, GA and South Georgia Motorsports Park(Sunday, June 5th). We should have a big Camaro 5 contingent, both to have fun and to show our support for SGMP since C5Fest II is not there this year. Similar to what this group did: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109809

Should be a great event. Also the 5th gen Camaro Prototype #1 was displayed at the 2006 HRPT so they love Camaros.

I can't go the fastest, but will be able to stop pretty quick.
Finally got my brake kit from the SEMA show car.
Going to try and get them on this weekend.
