Savini Wheels (letter from management)

Hi everybody,

This is Tu with Savini Wheels, I wanted to create a profile to respond to the issues that some people are having with Savini Wheels. I honestly was not aware of some of these issues until yesterday when it was brought to my attention by one of my vendors. Since then i have spent hours on this forum and taking notes on all the issues which i will address personally.

Before that i would like to apologize to all of our customers that has had any kind of bad experience with the Savini product. I want to ensure you that we are a company that values customer service.

Issues:
Darth Emma, i am glad that we got to talk last night about the misunderstanding that you and Nick had with the finish on your wheels. I was unaware of the complete problem until i read it on here. Tony did send me an email about the issue but i forwarded it to Nick expecting him just to take care of it since he knew more about the situation then i did...i apologize that i didnt look further into the problem right away. As far as the quality of the finish on the wheels, any time you paint wheels they are more prone to get chipped and that is why we offer a 1 year warranty on all of our finishes. We always powdercoat when we can but when it comes to multiple colored finishes or color match it is not possible. Most wheel companies will not even offer the finishes like we do because of this problem but we like to be a bit different and that is why we have situations like this...Terry in the end i am glad that we were able to take care of your problem and regain your trust.

Dr. Jkel, the problems that you had with your wheels was that you received them with a missing cap and the wrong lug nuts. Your wheels were picked up at our place by one of the local mail order companies which then i believe had tires mounted on them before shipping to you. I dont know how Savini is at fault with the missing cap issue or wrong lug nuts....when the wheels left here they had all the caps on them and we dont supply lugs nuts it is the responsibility of the retail shop to supply them. Your wheels got shipped back to us also for vibration...when we checked the wheels and tires they were out of balance by about 2 ounces..we never took the tires off the wheels, BFX Auto picked them up the way they came to us and i believe had them rebalanced.

Tomato, i believe that you had some caps that melted on the track...first time i have ever had that happen. Either way billet caps where specially made for you which we dropped of at Wheelstudios. From what i hear they accidently shipped them to the wrong customer. We are in the process of making you new ones, i'm sorry it is taking so long...we dont stock the material that it takes to make a billet cap so we had to special order them. Rest asure though that your caps are in line to get cut.

Racer779, you called the office and talked to me directly about your caps getting stolen at Sema, we sent you replacement caps out at no charge..but they were the wrong color, i apologize..you will get new ones sent out today.

Guys we are not claiming to be a perfect company...if i sit here and tell you that we never make any kind of mistakes i am lying to you. All of our wheels are custom and hand built so it is definitely possible of have a mistake here and there. This year alone we have sold over 160 sets of Savini wheels to Camaro owners and of those 160 we have only had a few minor issues, that is less then 2%...i say that is not bad. Our goal is to make a quality custom product that a consumer can be happy with but, in any case if there is an issue that can not be resolved with the retail store or one of our staff please feel free to email me at tu@saviniforged, i promise that i will do everything in my power to make it right for you.

Thanks

Savini Wheels (letter from management)

PQ, i was very aware of the situation that you had with your wheels...if i'm not wrong we got your wheels back a few times and tested the run out on them. Only 1 time did we find something wrong with your wheels and that was a bent inner due to shipping(something that we took care of.) Once you got them back you still had problems with vibration, eventhough we weren't able to find any problem with out of roundness on the wheels we decided to build you 2 new wheels(the ones that you thought were a problem) and had all 4 of your wheels and tires mounted at our facility to make sure that the mounting and balancing was done correctly...i believe now that your wheels ride perfectly.

Dr. Jkel, the problems that you had with your wheels was that you received them with a missing cap and the wrong lug nuts. I will speak specifically about the issues I had. In MY OPINION your vendors should ensure that things are correct, especially when buying high end product.

I do not expect the same service on a KIA that I do when I get a BMW serviced, AGREE?

So are you the KIA or the BMW?

Mr Tu,

If you read through these threads you will find a common theme that blame is being placed on the customer, vendor, and/or shops that do our work.

These wheels just can't be that fragile.

If as you stated earlier that the paint and powder coat are not really durable it makes no sense to sell something that you know you will have problems with, or is it just me.

I personally think powder coating is very durable, the frame of my truck is powder coated, NO PROBLEMS, maybe it's the prep, don't know just asking.

Please look at from our/customers side. You order some high end wheels only to have a problem, you are not face to face since it was an interent transaction and all you have is phone calls and e-mails and basically trust.

Once something has been decided then the rules change after the wheels were returned, It was like Emma's wheels were being held hostage for ransom, do you kinda see that. So what were her choices eith pay the extra or lose the whole amount of hewr wheels.

AND FOR THE RECORD BFXAUTO TOOK CARE OF ME< HE TOOK CARE OF ALL THE MISTAKES AND MADE IT RIGHT> My problem is not with BFXAUTO ( Nick ) my main issue is the way the problems have been handled and the fact that after Randy's issues came up I was assured that these issues had been taken care of.

You know as a business man that CUSTOMER SERVICE is king, it can make you or break you. Escpecially in the aftermarket world.

I really do appreciate you doing the right thing by Emma, Really I do. But as a person who has pushed your pruduct, yes me. It does not make me feel good to know that a friend I recommend may have a terrible experience and look at me as if I am the bad guy.

Do you understand?

No this is the exact place. Let's be transparent. Alot of blame was placed on Randy, let him defend himself or is there something to hide.

If you really want to get to the bottom of this as they say " The Truth Will set you Free."

I will be back in a little while to see where this goes>

Wanted to repost this since my name is mentioned in this thread.

Nick, responded to my cap issue and is sending them out today. Again my minor issue was miscommunication or lack there of. The wheels on my car have no paint chip or "out of round" problems at all. They did send me caps quickly and at no-charge. They are a beautiful wheel and if you want them I would go to an authorized dealer/distributor. As far as the other problems/issues/miscommunications by customers, that is what these forums are for. I have not had the QUALITY issues with Savini wheels (my experience).

Have a safe Holiday to everyone

Dr. Jekel, i am still confused on why you still place the blame of your issues on us...all the problems was with the handling of the wheels after they were picked up from us, 1-the missing cap, 2-the wrong lug nuts, 3-tires that were not balanced. I have spoken to BFX Auto and they told me that they did take care of you and that the problem wasnt with us but was with the way they sent the wheels out.

Like i said earlier we got the wheels back and checked everything, once realizing it was nothing on our end we contacted BFX Auto to let him know what the problem was.

Tu, please don't go anywhere.

I have a response for you.

I saved every shop bill, video, PM from Nick, picture, and then the posts in my threads.

I felt kinda stupid saving them. Surely Savini wouldnt try and call me a liar on a public forum?

Im gonna prove here on this site that you are lying. And if you somehow get the benefit of the doubt, then you aren't lying but you are incompetant.

Either way. Stay tuned please.

Nick has my phone number if you'd like to appologise and change your post. (Oh, and I have NEVER used my freindships with the mods on this site to circumvent the proper site procedure) Your excuse is weak. And so is your contact here on C5.

This is Savini giving PQ his wheels, and THEN what PQ is about to do to Savini...
