The production vert looks really nice, but I really wish they would have kept the silver windshield frame instead of making it body color. It broke up the color a little and really looked unique. The only other cars I have seen with the silver/aluminum look windshield frames are Audis and Rolls Royces. What do you guys think?

i disagree 100%. I never understand why every vert has a silver windshield frame. . . looked stupid to me.

crap, I forgot about a few others...solstice/sky, crossfire, etc...I dont know, I just like the silver. Looks different to me. Breaks up the solid colors a little

It's still doable. Just get that part painted. Personally, that's what I would do. I really like the look.
After all, they did it on the Neiman Marcus edition.

Agreed. Chrome is best.
It will not be long until someone makes a chrome overlay mldg for the convertable w/shield surround to improve the look- IMO.

I suspect the chrome trim is there on the other vehicles for another reason. I hate to think how the painted window post will look after a few uses. The convertible owners will be saying in a few months what were they thinking.

I can understand people liking a different look. I can also say I'm not sure I like the windshield header being silver. It's one of the things I hate most on our Sky. But I'm also not sure how good it would look all body color either.

But the good news is it's not a lot to paint so you could easily have it done once you get your convertible.
