Ok booked my room at the HIO, they said rooms are limited at this point.
I had to take a double bed room, but at least we're in!!

Hey guys - I just made hotel reservations for the BBOMG event the weekend of June 10th. Patty and I will be going up on Thursday and coming back on Sunday. Because it is so close to the Camaro Nationals in Maryland, and because I plan on having a REAL GOOD TIME in Oshawa, I can't make both events (won't be able to recover financially that quick). So we are canceling the Maryland trip.

Like I said, I did book a room at the Holiday Inn in Oshawa just a few minutes ago and they state they still have rooms open.

I have no clue what I'll be able to do this coming year as I'm spending alot of time with health issues for both parents.

As for the Grand National, It's respectable, and was considered very fast in its day, but now days there seem to be many cars right off the assembly line that are faster. I still have fun, and keep fixing things as needed, but any money I spend on it takes $$$ away from a camaro purchase...

just not fare that all of us that had planned for august and only had to worry about maybe 250 people fighting over 100 rooms now there are 3000 people fighting over 100 rooms . i think most of the upstate gang made the switch ok

A couple of things.....
With some things arising here at home. I am only going to be able to attend one function. Either Oshawa or Maryland. I have chosen Maryland for a couple of reasons.
1. is that I am already booked and have the time off for.
2. is that I can only afford to go to one because of reason number 3.
3. is that Maria and I are now ENGAGED!!

And of course I had to get her the rock(s) of her dreams and she wants to get married on July 9. So that left me in the dilemma of only choosing one. That leaves my schedule kinda looking like this:

April -June: build Garage, plan wedding, car shows
End of June: Maryland
July 9: Wedding hmmmmm............camaro theme wedding!?!?!

That's great! Congrats!!! Hey at least you didn't have to hock your Camaro for the ring- I wear Andy's '84 Z28 on my finger...he,he,he...You can have 50+?? Camaro escorts for your wedding! LOL! That's great news.

Hey, we understand- we were totally frustrated about the change in dates too. Too much going on in one month for sure!

A huge congratulations to the two of you! Sorry Patty and I will not be seeing you in Oshawa, as we too had to drop one event and decided to go north for the one to keep.
