Im pissing a lot of ppl off, which is no big deal, im use to that but i need to find a quieter axle-back to put on this thing. I WILL NOT add a resonator to it..... so i gotta find a good axle-back system.

I have the Corsa L99 anti-drone mufflers on it from when i first bought the car. Its an LS3 now, and obviously without the AFM. Im wondering if thats why its so loud is because the mufflers are not meant for my set-up?

Anyone out there have any advise?

I for one thing the 5000 post thing is super cool as well as the 200+ pages. All in all this thread contains a LOT of very useful information and comraderie for all of us. This is my favorite thread, and I'm glad to be part of the brother(sister)hood!!!!

2010.. make sure you "test" the new tires BEFORE going to the C5fest.. I would give any new tire a few miles of good break in testing beforehand.

you need to "scrub" them in before the Fest. My race tires took a whole event before they were broke in.... was like being on ICE as they would not grab at all until the next event... I did drive them up and down the road before hand in front of the house to start getting them scuffed, though it wasn't enough. I would have needed 5 miles or so... and hoosier's aren't a good tire to drive on the street with. (wide and sticky, they pick up everything they roll over and fling it at the car's wheelwells).

I ran 4??? events on them now... That's probably 20 miles total.. I consider them at the point where they are now ready for use.

They are ready for the Fest... one lap around the autocross track to get them cleaned off and they should be ready for some good runs.

Yup, we have a nice little Community that is a lot of fun chatting with each other.

Makes it that much more fun when we all meet up at some of the events. SEMA was a lot of fun..
The Fest is going to be outrageous with all of the LPE cars there!

Congrats to all the LPE Brotherhood, of which I am proud to be a member, on hitting 200 pages and 5000 posts! You guys are all animals!!

I'm looking forward to taking my blue beast down to Spring Mountain on March 8th for a private instruction session on their 2-mile road course and then plenty of action this summer on the Reno-Fernley 4-mile road course. The car is wicked fast in a straight line with 576 RWHP and 4.10 gears, now to make it handle!

There will be several Pedders items going under the car before March

Hey Barry, good to hear from you! Pedders makes good stuff, I have yet to find anyone not completely happy with choosing them. Sounds like you have a tire roasting summer planned.

I guess over the course of this thread we have covered about every aspect of building a Camaro. Nice to see that others are interested.
I guess I am about to hit the mods again, I have my rear RB rotors to go on and figure the upgraded LPE/Brembo calipers are a must have. Then there is the new rearend, and maybe a little something in the more power department. I guess the New Year means new mods.
