If a dealer has already sold their allotment of convertible orders, how long does it usually take for them to be able to order more? Weeks.... months?

Back in November all dealers received the number they will be able to order for the 2011 model year run (production from January to June 2011). Once those are used up, they will not be able to order any more until we are able to order the 2012 models. So, my guess would be June-ish 2011.

I've spoken to a few dealers around Phx today and while they definitely seem clueless on everything, a few talk about how they are receiving some in. Are dealers getting their showroom models soon? One dealer (who I don't really trust at all) was telling me they are getting 3 SS's in mid January. From following the forum, I was under the impression that production is not even starting until this month, let alone models being delivered to the dealers. Is this guy full of it?

Well, yes...production on convertibles doesn't start until next week, so they are probably being very OPTIMISTIC about when they will get theirs if they are quoting 'Mid January'.
