Getting a Camaro before I get out

Hi, Im jimi

So I have made the final decision that I will buy a camaro right before getting out of the military. I just got all the paperwork started on the car credit ran ETC ETC and im due to pick it up friday when I release myself from work..I think the most agonizing thing will be the signatures ETC while the car stares @ me from the show room floor.

Anyway im picking up a 2011 Camaro 1SS 6spd with the RS package All yellow with black accents (stripes) Boston Acoutics sound and autostart...

My wife told me this is the most ridiculous idea I have had seeing as its a 400+hp RWD car...in Alaska...

but anyway once i get it ill be sure to get some pictures...

If you are separating from the military hopefully you have a well paying job with benefits lined up or maybe your family is wealthly b/c that camaro ain't gonna pay for itself. Now that the public service announcement is out of the way congrats man and be sure to post pics when you pick her up!

generally when I hear 6speed... i think manual... and you said it has autostart... so I am a bit confused

Is this an automatic? because technically the auto has six speeds as well, but again I am just used to saying "six speed" when referring to a manual transmission.

If you got auto start with a manual, please teach me how

Auto start is automatically an option in alaska even with manual trannys... it usually cost more to install aftermarket but it can be done.

I guess you could bring your car to alaska and have it installed LOL

How are the summers in alaska? I'm sure you'll be able to get a few good months of driving her when the roads are clear.
