Just a quick note for those considering Aqua Blue. In my opinion, as with the Inferno Orange seats, digital cameras fail to capture the true color of the car. All the pictures (mine included) make it appear to be a light blue, but in person it is a very dynamic color, much like Cyber Gray. Aqua Blue is a very nice looking color on the car.

Oz

Edit - fixxer56's side shots actually do a nice job in capturing the color. To me, it looks very close to what I saw in person. Nice job. I just noticed, I'm on the left in all three pictures, lol.

Ozman , I agree...I'm thinking of switching from IOM to Aqua Blue Metallic based on this production model! I agree, Photos DON;T do this color justice at all!

If the aqua blue is a production model, I'd really like to see some high res, high quality photos of the interior.

The ABM is production and is VIN...008. Sorry, I didn't get interior pics of it. But, it's an awesome color. Almost makes me want to switch from CGM...almost.

I'm to the left in the picture (your right), and the "$20 give away" winner is all the way on the right, lol. That was a pretty cool show. I wonder what he did with all that money he won......

What's up edog - you introduced yourself when I was sitting in the SS/RS.

But as far as CGM, that's what I thought Scott said, but I didn't want to start a tsunami of misinformation. Either way, I don't think it will be a material delay.

I believe I took this picture in the SS/RS, but I distinctly remember 3 universal remote buttons in one of the cars. If memory serves me correctly, they were right of center towards the front of this console. I'm confident that these buttons will be included in the actual production models, but for whatever reason they weren't in this particular car.

I had a 2 1/2 hour drive...so, I was up at 2:45am and out of the house by 3:30am. Ouch!

But, yes well worth it.

I live about 12 miles from the show but could not sleep at all last night in anticipation of sitting in just 1 camaro, let alone 4....

2 1/2 so... just south of baltimore??

sorry im just south of baltimore and just decided no way i could make the trip that early.

as for the CGM, knowing each dealership is going to be getting a V6, how worried are we all about this delay? That seems to me that it basically gives the line till the end of march to get rid of this paint before they switch over. hopefully thats more than plenty of time.

additionally I was talking to my dad about the difference in color between the CGM traverse and the vette. he suggested the difference in how they look maybe the fact that one is built on a steel body and one is built on a fiberglass body. while obviously there is a base it seemed to make sense. that said i hope to god the CGM comes out on the camaro like the vette because WOW

I don't think there is any need to worry... but keep in mind they will start off building pre-order cars at launch (at least the V8 pre-orders) with the dealer V6's. It sounds like you are under the impression that they are going to build all of the dealer V6's at first before moving on to the pre-orders, which isn't the case.
