Emblem question?

I want to replace the fender emblems on my car with the retro looking ones from the '68-'69. I found them on this website:

http://www.rickscamaros.com/camaro-f...1968-1969.html

Just wonder if anyone else has used these and know if they will work on the 2010. If not, do you have another suggestion?

yes. here is a pic of my buddys.....but before you buy them....since it is a REPRODUCTION OF THE ORIGINAL....it will have POSTS on the back, which you will have to grind off and then use 3M double sided molding tape to put them on your car.....that is unless you can find them that already have double sided tape on them.

That's what I was thinking, I just wanted to here it from someone who had done it.

I'm not a big fan of the one on the hood because the front end of the 69 was straight and the 2010 is more pointed so you either end up putting it on crooked with the car or crooked with the world. Just doesn't look right to me for some reason, idk.

You get the ones that you had to grind off the rear pegs or something else?

I put the header script on my dash, and I put the V-Flags below the camaro.....both had the original PEGS on the, just took a Dremel tool and removed them....then went to the local auto parts store and bought a roll of 3M Molding Tape....piece of cake.....been there for well over a year.

The ones I have were from emblempros.com and they are applied with tape. they're a little more expensive but I wanted black emblems as well so I got those ones.

This is probably the easiest way.....then use some wd-40 or alcohol to remove the left over residue form the tape.
