I got pulled over the day I got it back from livernois. It was supercharged and I wanted to open it up. Little to my surprise it was fast and I was at 135 on a 4 lane I quickly hit the breaks and just as I was getting to 70 a state trooper rounded the corner and got me. I was going 15 over. Got off with a warning but it was my fault. I dont think its the car either its breaking the law. But if you break the law in this car I do think you have a better chance of getting a ticket. Also sometimes when you speed the cop goes by and I think in a camaro if they look at the car see you speeding they will get you unlike other vehicles.

Here in Toronto we have some what new street racing laws .
Thanks to teenage kids racing there mom and dad's cars wreckless on are roads .
So the police in the Toronto can take your car and inpound it under "street racing " .
Now my problem with this is all the cost out to the owner before being proven guilty .

I was at a red light with my girl in the car , and my bubby behind me in his 66 Charger behind me .
And a guy about my age between 25-28 years old in a little hatch back mid 90's
Honda Civic pulled up in the left lane beside me .
The light went green the kid floored his car and squaked his tires and took off .
I drove down the road maybe another 4-5 minutes and two cop car flew up on me and my buddy .
One cop car pulled behind the Charger , and one in front of my Camaro .
They flashed there lights and we all pulled over .
One cop came to me from the front car , and one from the back to my friends car .
The cop I delt with lost it on me from the start .

I asked if there was a problem ?
He said you guys think your funny?
I said excuse me ????
He said "you knew we were doing radar down the road so you racing around and slowed down right in front of us "
I said no sir , I never even launched the car .
He said if I do not wanna cooperate he can impound my car at a cost to me .
I was like on what grounds ???
He said we heard you at the intersection , and that they were parked in the plaza .
My girl said sir if you heard us , did you see us ??
He said "No we did not , nor did we have to there was only one other car that came down the road "
(The green little civic)
We explianed what happend he did not care .
Luckly the Officer my buddy was talking to was reasonable , and understood .
He figured out why would we do that and both being in the right lane not side by side .
Only to coast down the road just over the limit by like 5kms .
Luckly we were let go , but the cop I got never belive the guy in the Civic did it .
It had to be guys the Camaro and the Charger .

No all Cops are bad , My Grandpa was a really good one but in Toronto Ont. Canada they have way to much power .
Did anyone else read this like a song?

Well the thing that worries me the most is the fact that I'm only 17, and if a cop sees me driving around with a Camaro, he'll be suspicious immediately.

I got pulled over in New Orleans last week. I was in a line of about 5 cars that turned left where there was a sign that said "No left turn". Apparently he was targetting every one who broke the law that day....

I've dodged more tickets than I would have with another car. Nice, new popular cars tend to get off with warnings more than old riced up sporty looking cars.

I think it has more to do with the driver's attitude. I know most ricers are A-Holes when they get pulled over. It's all about being nice and respectful in order to get a warning.

Put your belt on and don't go more than 10 over the highway limit.
No problems here.

I AGREE

As a Corvette owner for 37 years and a guy on his 3rd Camaro, I have to tell you that in all those years I've only had one ticket while driving these cars. I deserved more I'm sure, but it sort'a dispells the notion that these cars are a "ticket magnet".

Other than this clown I have only had thumbs up from at least one CHP officer, and other cop that have been behind me have never bothered me in the 19 months I've had this car, and it's my everyday driver.
The point is, you broke the law by not having a front plate and tinting your tailights. Rosetti picks on modified cars because Rosetti is a traffic officer. He also picks on commercial trucking because he has nothing better to do. Keep your car legal and you won't have problems.

Glad I live in Arkansas.

-Front plates? Not even allowed to have em
-Tinting Tailights? (or smoking tailights/headlights) as long as your tailights and brake lights are still clearly visible.
-Window Tint? 25%net is legal. Most people run 15% Gross (even for full windshield) and get away with it. Only state troopers really care..
-Street Glow? I had street glow on two diff. vehicles since 06 and have been pulled over twice. 1st time was cuz bulbs were visible. Second time was cuz redneck constible didn't like em. State didn't even mess with me when I ran red. (just don't use blue) .. never got a ticket for it though. laws are too gray on street glow (pretty much anything other than blue is legal as long as bulbs don't show)
-Speeding? usually leave you alone unless it's 10over or more (plus speed traps are illegal in arkansas. cannot radar you going down a steep hill and cannot hide while radaring or radar blacked out)
