Correct, you are NOT required to be a registered attendee at the OCC Nationals to take the Tour. Although I speak from personal experience when I say the Nationals is a really fun car show. They run the entire weekend so everyone who wants to include their car as part of the weekend-long Nationals show is encouraged to register

The official GM information release "Tour spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis". I think that we can trust GM to NOT unfairly move OCC Nationals registrants to the front of the line. But even if that is the case, with 3000 spots available, I don't think there is any need to worry
With all this said...Lets not get this Event(OCC) mixed up with ours(BBOMG)....YES we have to Register for the TOUR PLANT through OCC...THATS IT.....With all these posts I'm sure people are getting mixed up.....Encouraging them if they want to go to the OCC instead of ours..etc....The OCC Nationals is Fun yes but not this Year. It's just to bad they're on the same weekend...:(

We will have our own events and other tours of some kind for sure...Will this include a trip to see the OCC Nationals for a couple of hours That's up to the BBOMG Organizers. I know they are working hard on our Events and trying to get the Event Details out to us ASAP...

I hope I didn't offend anyone..IJMO

I think you have the right idea Rick. Register with OCC and BBOMG and you give yourself the option of doing whatever your heart desires. Registering for BBOMG is free anyways.

No offence taken here Rick. We're all good. You're right it's a bit confusing, and trust me, things will be made clearer as arrangements progress. We're working on some exciting ideas on how to make this weekend the best experience for everyone. Too much fun, not enough time! The key to our event is flexibility. We want to make the Camaro Homecoming and the OCC Nationals the biggest and best they can be. Both of those offer a great experience by themselves. Our event is different - some will say it takes it to the next level. But we want BBOMG participants to have the flexibility to do what they want. Hang out at the Nationals the entire weekend? Sure, if you want to. But we're working on some great ideas. (Picture rolling into the Nationals with 150 other BBOMG cars )

That's what confusing a bit is Our BBOMG starting point (Hotel) to the Plant. Does it mean we have to pay to get on the GM grounds with the OCC or we will have our own Section like last year at the Plant..
Anyways I got to stop thinking :bangdesk: about this and let you guys do your work

We are going to participate in the Nationals but you are right Andy - the party is at the hotel.

We'll use the Nationals for sleep time.....

I'm still working on the schedule of events but it all will revolve around the Nationals. There is some talk about a cruise on one of the nights so depending when that will occur, will determine when the hotel activities can go on.
