The kits wont be out for 3-4 months if I had to take a wild guess at it. I got your emails Otto but have been busy at the shop. I have told Eric to let you know that we dont have kits available yet. I can put you on the list when we start shipping them but thats all I can do for now.

Come on guys, stop asking about pricing...we are all keen on that kit(s) but be patient, he said they need some time...and what does a month or 2 make a difference for you?
as if you need Nav on daily basis.... When there are some news, pics and prices I guess he will post it, they know very well how much money they can make with a good kit, so let's hope for the best! |

the DTS controls are digital, and single zone. about the only chance you'd have is to find some other mfg with the same thing - digital single zone hvac controls, that fit the space... and hope that they could be interfaced. |

Just not a big fan of the big knobs like our cars have or the DTS knobs. I am sure that it wouldn't be that hard to dual zone our cars. I own a tahoe and it just has 2 "mixers" instead of 1 behind the dash, there is plenty of room behind our dashes. Only takes money right?

My two cents.
I think if he goes through all this trouble and puts in different knobs there would be a lot of people upset. This is the point of his kit, to retain the factory knobs, big and round as they are. I love the look of them, that's why I am hesitant to go with any other kit, I hope to someday get this kit if I can ever get back to work. Also dual zone climate in this car is totally unneeded. It is too small to have any noticeable effects, not worth the time money or effort IMHO.

We are building our own CAN/LIN interface boards, so we can make pretty much anything work, with the exception of space and price. We arent just hacking apart a DTS control and splicing some wires to make it work. Thats one reason we use our own screen behind the stock display, so we can display the data that we want and it actually has more functionality then the stock ones do. We could do something with the tahoe ones as well, but its a matter of how many we would sell to make a production piece out of it. Each one of these kits takes 200+ hours of R&D to make, which at my pay rate is about 9 dollars. Lol. Ill see what I can do guys. And yes, there will be a way to get into the config menu. Steering controls will still work, and the bluetooth should be through your new headunit, if not, I will figure out how to leave the stock one working. Onstar will still be fully functional, you just wont need it for nav.
